Wellness Afternoon for Women
Service Description
Indulge in a mindful craft activity of mandala pattern painting on a pebble, gentle, supported yoga practice, calming yogic breath, soul-touching poetry, and a soothing sound bath to rest, release stress, ease tension and promote inner peace and harmony. In this relaxing afternoon, everything is provided and set up for you. You just turn up and let me take care of you, so that you can rest and replenish. - Slow down and reconnect with yourself - Explore your creativity in a safe, supportive space - Share in calm, connection, and community with other women - Enjoy nourishing refreshments (vegan, vegetarian, gluten free) - Feel more balanced and centered when you leave No previous yoga experience or specific fitness level is required. Practice is slow and gentle, consisting of a mixture of long-held, sitting and lying-down poses with the use of props, which will be provided. The sound bath session can be participated in sitting or lying down. It will involve creating waves of sounds and vibrations using crystal and Tibetan singing bowls, a gong and other instruments. This might be inadvisable if you have certain medical conditions, such as sound-induced epilepsy, tinnitus, ménière's, severe or clinical mental health problems, heart conditions, or are pregnant. If you’re unsure whether you should participate in the sound bath because of your health, please consult your doctor. Please note the session takes place at my home in a spacious open-plan living room overlooking a peaceful garden.
