What is a sound bath?
It's a form of meditation that involves using crystal singing blows, a gong and other instruments to produce sounds and vibrations to guide participants into a deeply relaxed state.
The sound waves massage the body internally to promote physical, mental and emotional rejuvenation. The vibrations penetrate the body to gently shake out restrictions and blockages of natural energy. Both aspects can help the body to release endorphins, the feel-good hormones that boost well-being.
Contraindications
Sound bath sessions involve creating waves of sounds and vibrations using crystal singing bowls and other instruments. This might be inadvisable if a person has certain medical conditions, such as sound-induced epilepsy, tinnitus, ménière's, severe or clinical mental health problems, heart conditions, or those pregnant. If you’re unsure whether the persons you're gifting this voucher to should participate in the sound bath because of their health, please talk to them about this as they might need to consult their doctor.
